The free version gives lasting access to the first 60 N5 words, the full kana learning, the first chapter of the grammar course and a first dialogue. That is enough to really get started. Hibi+ unlocks the rest of N5, the rest of the grammar and all of the dialogues. The N4 to N1 levels will be added progressively and are included in the subscription; for now, only N5 is available.
Hibi+ costs 49.99 € per year (about 4.17 € per month), or 8.99 € per month with no commitment. Billing goes through the App Store or Google Play. The exact price shown in the store is what counts, since it can vary by region and currency.
Hibi+ offers a 7-day free trial. Nothing is charged before the trial ends: you can cancel it at any time from your store’s subscription settings before the deadline, and you will pay nothing. If you do nothing, the subscription starts automatically at the end of the 7 days.
Cancellation happens in the subscription settings of the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android), not inside Hibi. Once cancelled, you keep access to Hibi+ until the end of the period you already paid for, then you automatically return to the free version.
Refunds are handled directly by Apple or Google, depending on the store where you subscribed, and not by Hibi. Send your request through the App Store or Google Play, following their usual procedure. For the general framework, see our terms.
No data is lost. You simply return to the free scope: your learned words, your streak and your history stay saved on your account. If you resubscribe later, you pick up exactly where you left off, identical.
